Demonstrate With Woman Against The Cuts
Tuesday 30th November 5-7pm
The Treasury, Parliament Street (nearest tube Westminster)
We are facing the most devastating attack on the welfare state and public services health, education, benefits the list goes on, and the damage that will be done will be for generations to come, with women being hit hardest. It will be women who will face the majority of redundancies, women who will suffer the effects of the decimation of our public services most harshly, and women who are expected to take up the essential work, such as caring, that the government will no longer pay people to do.
As women we must fightback.
Bring noise-makers and friends: join us and we can fight the cuts together!
Please help spread the word! Go to http://womenagainstthecuts.wordpress.com/
and download our leaflet to distribute among friends, neighbours and work colleagues.
List your women’s actions
We have set up a page to let women leave comments about the actions in your area or to share how the cuts are impacting on your work, your home as well as the threat to women’s services such as refuges and rape crisis centres.
