I have to wear my black suit next week. Last time I wore it I got absolutely drenched, and the trousers have gone all wrinkly. I donít know what to do. Shall I take it to the dry cleaners and see what they can do, or should I just try ironing them myself?

I haven't got much faith in professional cleaning since they shrank our curtains. So I'm going for the diy option.

What German radio station plays German songs? I want some background German, preferably slow and simple but every station I find is playing music sung in English.

Heino, on YT, has temporarily solved this question. My friends will never speak to me again if I admit this anywhere else.

When I was over there I noticed, and other people have also remarked, that itís mostly 80s music and cheesy rock ballads.

I wouldn't mind so long as it was actual German, and not strange combinations dotted with that peculiar brand of German English which they insist is actual 'real' English, and any defect of understanding on my part is obviously because I can't appreciate techno or haus and instead have a weird appreciation of schlager (even if I also know why they all cringe). Heino is doing my head in tho and I'm about to admit defeat, there's no way I can roll my Rs the way he can, with even more of a trill than any Italian.

This is the improvement, https://youtu.be/BNHamTwxJ6Q, Warum hast du nicht nein gesagt and someone in the comments is listening for the same reason as me, because it's useful for learning German.

New NRQ: how many sets of pyjamas is it reasonable to own? (I'm sorting out a wardrobe.)

Is it common for an NHS specialist service to simply not reply to a GP?

Probably not common - do you mean if they've made a referral and it's been ignored?

WTF is wrong with me? I tried to get some ingrown hairs out of my leg and... I don't know how to describe the result :(

Specialist services don't cover me because I'm too ill and they only treat mildly affected people, which is contrary to NICE guidelines, so he's asked for advice and they have ignored him.

It definitely shouldn't be ignored. Is there a PALS (patient advice and liaison services) in your area? They have sorted things out really fast for me before (e.g. something that's been dragging on for months sorted out the same day).

Well I don't actually want the specialists' input because they're useless or worse, I'd just like to know whether they're also discourteous shits.
