The whole New Covent Garden range of soups are great, especially Leek&Potato or Winter Vegetable for at work.

At home I make my own with celery, carrots, spinach or whatever I can find and freeze it in. Reheated soup tastes even better. Mmm with crusty bread.

My own homemade soups - whatever vegs and beans etc I have to hand - my favourite being tomato and lemon, or sweet potato and lentil.

A friend also makes a wonderful leek and butter bean soup which I just love!
And she saw that she looked like the Goddess Mothers she had just seen. ...........She left the museum juicy, full and ripe with possibilities.

Tesco's fresh tomato and basil soup is very comforting. Also like the majority of the covent garden range and homemade butternut squash soup.

I love the soup my gf makes. Chicken, potatoes, carrots, leeks, pearl barley, peas...

If I have to resort to bought soup, then Heinz Tomato is my favourite - with a toasted cheese sandwich to dunk in it.

Agreed!

I would warn anyone off the Sainsbury's version of tomato and basil though - revoltingly salty  :-X

I like a lot of the covent garden range soups, and in particular the Broccoli and stilton one.

However as the moment since I am in the middle of my autumn detox, I only eat home made soups, which include petit pois soup, broccoli ( and cashew nuts) soup, a mixture of those with spinach, a few different versions of pumpkin /butternut squash soup, sweet potatoes soup...etc

Tonight, or tomorrow I plan to experiment and have some green plantain soup.

Broccoli and stilton soup or mushroom soup or any hot soup with liberal amounts of grated cheese melting on top.

ooh great thread! soup is one of my favourite foods.Minestrone made by my goodself, sainsbury's three bean soup and their beef hotpot one but I agree with grapes malone about the tomato and basil it ain't nice, covent garden's carot and corriander and I think they do one with butternut squash,Heinz tomato with cream and a baton of white bread.

I do not like chicken soup reminds me of recovering from ill health, salty as well.
