I don't want to be all doom and gloom, C&M but are you sure it's being treated enough, what with having a broken ankle?

If you read my post properly you will see that its not me who has a broken ankle.  I have a friend with a broken ankle.   I posted in the Dear thread and I headed it Dear non gb which clearly indicates that I was not posting about myself.

I am being treated properly and my bones are stronger than they were.  :)

Dear non gb

You will get through this. Broken bones heal.   I have had broken bones and although at the time it is tough, you will get better.   Think yourself lucky a broken ankle is all you have.   Imagine people who have something that cannot be cured and have to live with whatever they have for the rest of their life

Dear Top, I think it's a friend who has this broken ankle at the moment.

Heh, it's like an episode of Three's Company. We just need someone to walk through the door wearing a pair of flippers.

I had no idea it was contagious. Best wishes to your friend.

Contagious?  What do you mean?    Osteoporosis is NOT contagious  ::)

My friend is getting on ok thanks...  Had to have ankle pinned together but for broken ankles I think that is normal even though it was only a hairline fracture.
