compulsory kindness. Whatever next?

It won't last.
It never does.

We must be thankful for small mercies.

Dear New Dear * thread

You're joking, right?

I thought that, too.
How preposterous.

Indeed. Honestly. I leave the country for a few days and there's an outbreak of compulsory kindness. Whatever next?

OK!  enough already.

stop the madness
Evenstar, you have a wonderfully evocative name, and are a lovely, considerate, poster.

Rock-the-casbah, you're a lovely, intense, funny woman, and really quite beautiful.

Chappers: you have a great hair-cut, a lot of talent, a girlfriend that's crazy about you, and you've overcome some real difficulties in the last year.   You're a fabulous, strong young woman.

SugarKane, I don't know you irl, but I hear that you're beautiful: you're funny as hell when you post, and seem to have great taste in clothes.

Kiwigoddess.    Oh hell, I can't do this anymore: mods you've broken me.    You, kiwigee, were TOO LATE.   Tough.   Stick that in your dishwasher and smoke it.

Dear New Dear * thread

You're joking, right?

No, the mods are going to do their best to ensure that bullying is not left in place on this thread.  :)

We went through this so recently. *weary sigh*
Censorship will always be battled against.

This thread isn't response to censorship, it's in response to bullying. Asking people to respect each other in a public forum isn't censorship, but courtesy.

Am I wrong?

Such friendly joviality has no place in this thread.

Am I wrong?

There has been no bullying - no new bullying anyway.
Bitching, on the other hand - there's been plenty of that.

Oh, and dear Williamsburg

I think I'm going to have to turn heterosexual and marry for a Green Card. I like you rather a lot.

And by censorship, I meant the Mods trying to police expression.
Losing battle on both sides in many ways.  We have to comply or we get booted nowadays but in the long run/grand scheme/wider real world, it would never work or be accepted.
