Or you could assume theyíve been at work all day and havenít read it.

Silencing is not being disagreed with and itís not someone not commenting on your post.

Anyone who thinks those things are the same has never been silenced.

Pretty much every woman I know has been raped or sexually assaulted. Itís all evil. Whichever of us it happens to.

Well, in fairness, I did mention mine first (this isn't a competition, but I would probably win).

Well Iím sorry I didnít comment on your post. I donít comment on most posts on the board.

If Iím honest I probably miss some important things you say because you say weird things about Hitler and this last one here.

Hhayt,  iím sorry that happened to you. To be honest I donít remember seeing it but then I do tend to skip over your posts somewhat. Here you go, have a sticker, for winning.

Maybe that's the problem in this thread. Skimming over posts and posters that don't reinforce one's own beliefs. How do we learn anything if we live with such a confirmation bias?

I donít skip over your posts because they donít confirm my beliefs. I sometimes skip over them because you say weird shít. Not weird because I donít agree with it. Weird because it makes my hair hurt.  No offence intended.

True, I like to sprinkle in some weird-ass sh*t now and then. As you were.

(I can delete this)
I'm presuming everybody did miss it, but it was in a post that was quoted and replied to, so please don't make it hhayt's fault if she was "weird" either then or now.

If I echo the points already made by Madge does that make me a terrible person?

I would say no, but Iím clearly biased. ;D

There seems to be a reluctance to agree/associate with me. I donít mean by people who disagree with me, but by those who do.

Am I such a bad cop?

In the interests of saying something lovely, Iím glad youíve all united in hatred against me. I have zero beefs with anyone. And I agree.

I'm not sure if my fellow poster is partially sighted or blind but basically she discloses why she is fearful of going into closed bathroom spaces where people with penises are. She explains that its not down to transphobia as alleged but down to being raped in such an environment at the age of 13 and the fear that brings up. Its the first time she has been able to speak about it in 27 years.

Your reaction to that is to yell "transphobe" at her.

That's without the sneering misrepresentation of my abuse story. I've never said "transwomen are not women" never mind tried to prove it with an attempted rape story.

So you are an a*se as far as I'm concerned.

Have we degenerated into a look at my victimhood, everybody has to agree with me and make me feel better ego boosting competition now? Next youíll both  claim to be the most oppressed group in the history of mankind and  accusing us of phobia and hate speech.

If you choose to resort to name-calling, then thatís on you, and for the record I havenít yelled transphobe at anyone. Not on here, not in real life, not sure ever.

From the bottom of my heart, I love you and agree with every word you said and didnít see the intent that was presumed in your post.

Sorry if it feels that way Madge. Youíre such an intelligent and articulate poster than I hardly ever feel that I have anything to add to what youíve already said.

Except for the cut and paste stuff, I didnít, nothing I post would get past an editor or even a spellchecker. 😉
