Periodic!  Just not regularly periodic!

Age 52 and they stop, then start, then longer gaps, then start again, like a flipping yoyo. But so far, not too many problems. Who knows what the future will bring.

We are all different and nothing can be predicted based on others experiences.

Probably 46, but it's not been a year yet so officially I am not menopausal yet. Before that I hadn't had a proper period for years because I was cheating, I had a Mirena coil. Which I did because I was fed up with bleeding more weeks than not. So I think I was getting peri menopausal then, at 40 already. But everyone's different.

47.  Mine were not particularly bad or painful but I am glad I don't have them anymore.   A girl who I went to school with who was known for being a bit promiscuous said she could not wait to finish having periods because then she did not have to ever worry about getting pregnant or having to go on the pill  ::)

24. Chemically, as they were so bad I couldn't stand it by the time I was 17.

46---and totally thrilled! I never knew when I was getting it
so could never wear white jeans. Also from 36-46 acquired
migraines.
Period stopped>migraines stopped> white jeans started

53, done and dusted!  :D I've been wondering when all the awful stuff might strike as so many people say how terrible menopause is. I asked my mum what her experience was and she said 'Oh, I didn't even notice it, I didn't get any of that'. PHEW.... I feel like doing a little celebration dance.

Much happier after a life time of bonkers level PMS.

Yup, after about six months of hot flushes mine are mostly gone already and I kind of miss them. It was nice being toasty warm, better than being cold, anyway!

I'm very envious.
I've got the hideousness of perimenopause - lots of menopausal symptoms (hot flushes, night sweats, palpitations, migraines, forgetfulness, sleep disturbance, joint pains blah blah) plus the joy of regular (every 26 days) periods which are also getting longer and heavier. It's really pissing me off. It could at least just be one or the other, you know? But for the last couple of years (and who knows how many more?) it's the worst of all worlds ::)
