Did you somehow miss those transatlantic discussions in the 80s about cling film, food wrap, saran wrap, which ones are permeable, are we talking about the same kind of plastic etc?

Not that lesbians don't have genuine neglected health issues  - depression, alcoholism, obesity/anorexia and breast cancer being the ones I've come across most. I would have said the clap was way down our priority list of things to worry about

That's a really interesting point - we'd love to discuss these kind of structural issues affecting queer women too!

i don't know why i'm replying so late apart from it's an interesting question, basically from diva magazine as if i'd mentioned it to anyone in high school i probably would've got my head kicked in. thankfully moved out of that area when i turned 18.
