The VITO Project is delighted to present Female Stories, an evening of some of the best, uplifting, insightful, flirtatious and joyous women-centred short fiction and non-fiction films.
The VITO Project is a monthly community-run LGBT cinema night on the last Wednesday of every month.

Confirmed at the time of writing:

Dir Eduardo Barreto / UK 2016
Love blossoms between the eclairs, in this short filmed on Columbia Road. A sweet feast for the eyes.

dir Zhanna Ozirna / Ukraine 2016
Kids, kittens, and the overthrow of social norms - just another day for a typical Ukrainian couple.

dir Lucie Rachel / UK 2016
A mother-daughter story and an insightful look at a queer child and her transitioning parent and how life can bring us closer together.

dir Paige Gratland, Sam McWilliams / Canada/US/UK 2015
Meet Deana McGuffin, bootmaker. Her fabulous gay boots are made with love, and for walking.

dir Eli Navarro / Spain 2012
Mamen and Gloria have decided to go a step forward in their relationship, moving together. Alicia and Paula are their neighbours and they… have a plan.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A/discussion.

This is a free event but we need your donations on the night to ensure the continuation of the VITO project. All donations go towards covering the costs associated with running the event (film licences, heating and lighting, rental of the premises, printing, promotion etc). Donations are VITO's only source of funding and we need to raise an average of £5 per person just to cover our costs. So PLEASE DIG DEEP and give us a paper donation if you are able to.

Location: The CINEMA MUSEUM, 2 Dugard Way, Renfrew Road, London SE11, (10 minutes walk from Elephant and Castle or Kennington)
