Yes! Yay! Hi. I have been vegan for a little while.

Just in case this hasn't been drilled into you already, it's essential to take a vitamin B12 supplement if you're vegan. A B12 deficiency can have severe long-term repercussions.

In other exciting news, Birkenstocks now have a vegan version of their sandals (in the USA, at least), so that's nice.

I love vegetarian food. Not sure I could totally give up meat. But it's not just saving the suffering of animals. It's also good for the environment, what with all the resources wasted on grain, fuel, pollution from the animals' waste matter. So lots of reasons to go veggie!

Hi
I haven't eaten any meat since Christmas although I am still eating fish. Anyone got any tips on what to eat when out as I struggle with spinach and everything seems to include it.

I've recently returned to being veggie after a lapse of some years, enjoying it, tho sometimes mourning how little effort some places put into the veggie side of their menu.

No, but here in Rural Ireland, it's often assumed that rug muncher equals vegetarian so we've been to a couple of disappointing dinner parties.

yeah, no problem organising a veggie meet up. Is there enough interest for a vegetarian/vegan meal and social?
