What's that Taiwan phone call about then?

Is Trump seriously trying to wind up the Chinese, or showing us all he isn't bowing down to them, either way ...a bit scary don't you think? :-\
One day I'll laugh about this!😑

Michelle Thomson's fantastic speech in the Commons yesterday. She said so much, so eloquently. It was noticeable that the majority of the very few MPs in attendance were female. Indeed, several men walked out as soon as she stood up to speak

Carrie Fisher has died.

Just seen this news... was kind of expecting it, having read a news report earlier today saying she was on a ventilator. I figured it had come down to her family preparing to let her go.

Damn sad news.  :(

Carrie Fisher has died.

It just shows that you can die when you are least expecting it.

I find everything Corbyn does cringeworthy.

/\ There is just something so utterly Monty Python about the whole scene. Imagine the ordinary voter watching that.

There is Tatchell, with his banners disrupting a speech by Corbyn. Tatchell being an unelected, self appointed spokesman for no-one at all with no mandate from anyone whatsover. He stood for election once as a Labour candidate in a Labour safe seat and he lost the seat to the Lib Dems. He went on to join the Green Party and as far as I know is not even a Labour member. He can not claim to have the democratic backing of any group. He might have  a bigger media presence but his opinion on Syria or indeed anything, is no more valid or endorsed than the next persons.

He takes it on himself to publically interrupt a speech by Corbyn and in doing so is essentially protesting against the one prominent politician who is closest in words and deeds to what he is actually agitating for.

You then have Baroness Shambles, whose only claim to any level of political competence was working for Liberty, running onstage and whispering to Corbyn "Let them protest" - which is totally giving the green light to any political loose cannon from now on to walk onstage and snatch the microphone from Corbyn at any future event. Lots of wonderful media opportunites to show him being undermined and what a circus left wing politics is.

You then have Corbyn shouting across the stage at Emily Thornberry, "When did we oppose this stuff?" Then on getting the answer, confirming to the meeting that he is already in agreement with whatever they are protesting about.

Its like something off the Young Ones. You wouldn't trust any one of them to lock the building never mind run a country.

I notice the only spokes persons for Labour these days are Emily Tbornberry and Diane Abbot, it's like Jeremy sends his formidable aunts out to defend him, and Shakrabarti looks more like a Svengali figure by the day.

The V & A is on lock-down.  I hope it's a false alarm.
