A Lover's Quest
« on: Sep 29, 2016, 08:27:03 PM »
I have searched horizons far and wide,
And trecked the sands of time,
Sailed seven seas,
And chased four winds,
In hope that She'd be mine.

I have sat upon the moon on high,
And slept on clouds above,
Tiptoed through stars,
Jumped Venus and Mars,
In hope to gain Her love.

I have prayed to God on bended knee,
Soared with Angels in the sky,
Danced with Devil,
And sold my soul,
In hopes to hear Her sigh.

I have climbed all hill and mountainside,
Followed every map and chart,
Crossed desert plains,
And all terrains,
In hope to win Her heart.

A ghostwriter friend of mine once sent me those words.
I thought I would share such a poem with you.

My friend also wrote this ode as a tribute to David Bowie.
Hope you like it.

THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD,
Was not A LAD INSANE,
His PIN UPS graced many a wall,
And His music shall remain.

The Earth has lost an Angel,
And the Heavens gained a STAR,
Fond farewell the THIN WHITE DUKE,
Of music and guitar.

His World was HUNKY DORY,
As he played from STATION TO STATION,
He made us feel like HEROES,
And his songs touched every Nation.

The Earth has lost an Angel,
And the Heavens gained a STAR,
Fond farewell the THIN WHITE DUKE,
Of music and guitar.

He gave us SOUND AND VISION,
A DRUMMER BOY of Peace,
He said LET'S DANCE,
And take a chance,
Life's CHANGES never cease.

Rest in Peace Mister Jones
The Man who fell to Earth

7

He created Earth and Adam and Eve
From his Kingdom high in Heaven
He gave us life
The air we breath
And in days His work took 7

He flooded 7 Oceans
Their waters deep and blue
And painted sky a Rainbow
Of 7 colours bright and hue

He designed the 7 Continents
That had 7 Gates to Hell
And inspired The 7 Wonders
Of which Mankind doth tell

Both You and I are ruled by 7
From day we are born
'Till Hell or Heaven

His Son sent down from Heaven
Whose word We live today
His Miracles numbered 7
His Crucifitxion paves Our way.

He foretold 7 Traits of Virtue
Alongwith the 7 of Deadly Sins
And offered Lucky number 7
With 'belief' it always Wins

Both You and I are ruled by 7
From day we are born
'Till Hell or Heaven.

"The Colours of Life"

The Colours of Life are but Black and White,
As our Pencilled in days are Drawn by night,
Behind this truth Doodles offspring Grey,
A Shadey figure the world doth say,
His Art depicts all our fates,
Amongst stars above he hangs Portraits.

The Art of life Paints all our dreams,
Our futures and our past,
As its Brush runs dry,
Upon final breath and sigh,
Life's Colours always last.
