Poem
« on: May 07, 2016, 12:38:17 PM »
My head is splitting into stars
I see the black beneath wrap around
and I am engulfed
She shifts the boundaries
and the earth moves beneath my feet
like stepping stones on tectonic plates
I am precipitating the fall
all the while looking up at the light
wanting to be one with it, to beam out brightly
to feel I own my place in the world
and not to cower in the shadow I have cast on myself

Cheers! It's maybe a bit dark but I wrote it after a break up -ah well, onwards and upwards...!

Dark is good sometimes, can't be cheerful all the time as it's not very real :-)
