I'm a neuroscientist at UCL who runs research studies looking at how the brain affects mood. I run a study taking place near Russell Square that involves one 30 min interview and one 1-hour MRI scan, where you can see a picture of your brain, and be given £15 to compensate you for your time.
There are two groups of people I am looking for to take part in my study:
(1) People who have never been depressed before, or had any other psychiatric disorder ('healthy controls')
(2) People who have never been depressed (or had another psychiatric disorder) before BUT have a first degree relative (mother, father, or sibling) who has been treated for or diagnosed with depression.
Please get in touch with me if you are interested in finding out a bit more-- I'd be happy to tell you.
