Is 'falling out of death' a terrible title? Would slipping out of death be better? Originally it was The Fall, but since I started writing a programme called the fall came out...

No, not a terrible title. A very good one. I like it much better than 'slipping'. Slipping sounds too close to a cliched expression.

Is 'That strange girl' not possible?

Falling/Slipping out of death doesn't sound as interesting. I like the mundane, partial-sentence-ness of that strange girl.

Thanks for the feedback you two. I like that strange girl too, but not sure it fits overall all, even though her madness is a main theme. I'm toying with it now though. Agree slipping sounds a bit off.

I think OB is right, I also like the fragmentary ordinariness of "That Strange Girl". It's the kind of title that would make me want to read.
