When I can!

I just love walking - takes me outside of my mind and nature lifts my heart, the sheer physical exertion at the end of the day falling into bed and having an amazing nights sleep - I love it all.

Plus - you can eat like a king and not gain a pound if you're hiking 30kms a day :)

Walking surrounded with views of nature is definitely healing for me. And physical exercise that comes with it is perfect for keeping fit and relaxes the mind.

after decades of wearing converse high tops I've gone to Merrell's-they have stabilisers and great foot beds and I don't know what else-makes a huge difference knees back and feet aren't tired end of the day

well...seems I've got a new TV  :D
offspring called to tell me he ordered one for me-out of the blue!-and it needs picking up  :o
last time I had one life was still analogue so for now I'll just watch DVDs but I'll be able to actually read the subtitles

^ what a nice thing to do (and the choosing of it, for me, would be the best thing. I last bought a new tv many years ago and had no clue how to choose one. I stood in front of the bank of tvs in Currys, or wherever it was, until a young salesman spotted me and came over to 'help'. "What features are you looking for?" he asked me. Stumped, I said desperately "I'd like one with remote control." He looked at me pityingly and said, "Madam, they all have remote control." In the end I think I just went with whichever one was the most basic model in the right size and in stock, so I could take it away with me. Until that point I'd been making do with an ancient b&w set, so even colour was a bonus...)

Ha!! You and I could do a double act! A remote is the most important thing-isn't it?!! It is boggling-I've gotten employees bonuses because I asked to speak to a manager in appreciation of all I put them through asking the most basic of questions
I so miss when you turned the TV on maybe wriggled the antenna a bit and there were your shows oh and your phone didn't need a signal and it never got dropped into a toilet or lost

Haha! It's not that I don't like some technology - I love my laptop and now I can cast from it to the tv, which is brilliant - I just don't understand it. I'm still clinging to my iphone 4 because I know how the bloody thing works, rather than getting with the times and whatever the latest version is ::) As for my work phone - that's still an old Nokia that does nothing but text and phone, which is all I need it to do!
