Bisexuals haven't always had the best press. Bisexual women frequently find themselves relegated to the realms of porn fantasy or simply dismissed as being unable to fully commit to a lesbian identity. Lumped in with the LGBT, we are all too often conveniently ignored! In a world where gay people are gradually gaining acceptance, bisexuality seems to be the last taboo, and a label to be ashamed of.
Biscuit wants to help change that.
With a nomination for Publication of the Year from top UK LGBT charity Stonewall already under its belt, and coverage of the groundbreaking Biscuit Female Sexuality Index hitting a number of national press outlets, in its short lifespan Biscuit has already managed impressive things. Hits are building all the time and the hype just keeps getting bigger.
Where do you come in?
The role is commission-only at first because, well, we haven't had you around to sell ad space and generate revenue. Let's get that out of the way. The good news is with Biscuit's already impressive reputation, we reckon you'll be able to hit the ground running and start pulling in the pounds pretty quick. You'll have web sales experience and ideally knowledge of the LGBT sector. Happy to work in a (very!) small team for a new business, you'll be confident and positive. Time commitment will need to be at least a few hours a week -- this is something we can discuss.
