On Thursday 13th November 2014, for a fourth year running, Rock Against Violence will host an exciting evening of live music. Returning to Islington’s O2 Academy, this night to remember will feature local bands selflessly helping raise much needed funds for Solace Women’s Aid, a leading charity in providing a range of support for women and children who are survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
We Used To Make Things, an 8 piece rock band with big harmonies and impressive vocals, joined by DB Cohen, an up and coming 6 piece band with a unique sound of indie rock and a touch of blues. On top of these great bands, The Fourt Fits, four sisters from Camden perform original rock-dance tracks with four-part harmonies along with the deep sounds of Beatrix Players. This year’s line-up of 4 bands is set to be the best yet!
The show will be hosted by renowned radio presenter and producer of London Gig Guide Tom du Croz. The night will be jam packed full of stunning live performances, a silent auction, featuring exclusive prizes, a fundraising raffle, and loads more! Tickets are priced at £10 with an option to sponsor the Solace community for £20. Tickets and are available at https://rockagainstviolence.evenbrite.co.uk
