I have just added this to the big fundraising post below.

Hoorah! Now you can raise money for Gingerbeer every time you shop online! And every time you search online!

**Shop Ginger**

Gingerbeer is now part of www.easyfundraising.org.uk, which enables you to make a donation to Gingerbeer every time you shop at over 2,700 online retailers - including Amazon, Marks & Spencer, supermarkets, department stores, electricals - in fact almost all of the big stores. See the full list at: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/retailers/

Between around 1.5% (Amazon) and 6.5% (Marks & Spencer) of the money you spend on your online shopping will be donated by the retailer to Gingerbeer! You can also get discounts and deals from participating retailers at http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/deals/

All you need to do is to register at http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/create-an-account/ and choose to support Gingerbeer as a cause.

You can also download a toolbar which appears below the browser bar on your computer. It reminds you to use easyfundraising.org.uk when you shop online, and shows you how much you have contributed: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/raise-more/donation-reminder/

You can raise extra money by recruiting friends (or other Beeries) to sign up via Facebook, email etc. See http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/raise-more/referrals/

Lastly, there is a separate easysearch service for online searches.
You can set it as your browser homepage, and if you use it to make websearches, Gingerbeer will get a teeny donation every time you complete an online search (using Yahoo). Find out more at: http://gingerbeer.easysearch.org.uk/

Sign up! Sign up! Sign up! at at http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/create-an-account/

This seems like a great way to raise money for Gingerbeer - especially in the run-up to Christmas.

Send Blue Heron an invitation from http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/raise-more/referrals/, MSFC. You will earn £5 for GB when she spends her first £10 (I think!).

And EVicT has now created a page for easyfundraising on the main GB website, so you can also access the sign-up through a dedicated page at: http://www.gingerbeer.co.uk/?p=easyfundraising

Tak, do let me know if there was something wrong with the links in my post below so I can remedy it if needed.

Meanwhile  ;D

And I have raised 62p for GB this week via easyfundraising. Every penny counts, I guess...

Thanks for everyone's efforts.

Update - I now have a volunteer helping me to update all of the listings to make sure that they are correct for the new site.  I also now have an administrator who is helping with the day to day admin which frees me up for the redesign and strategic bits and pieces.  I will leave it to them as to whether or not they want people to know who they are.

I can also report that due to two sizeable donations we are at £4,000 in contributions.  I'm really greatful to everyone who made a donation of any amount.  It's not the amount that matters so much as it is the fact you thought it important enough to contribute so thank you.

I'm having trouble venue hunting for our Christmas party, but am hopeful of a place this week.  Then I'll need someone to organise a bit, but I'll post that in the event thread.

Things I could really use:
- someone who knows about doubleclick adveritising and wordpress or is willing to learn
- someone who can point us at an app developer to even just ask what it would entail
