I Expect!

I Expect of you to love me true, to be devoted in what you say, and what you do!
I Expect of you, kindness, softness, fingers lingering, eyes sparkling, fire!
I Expect of you, to remain at my side, your truth to never hide,
Surface from the mire!
I Expect of you to rescue me, to make me whole, make me free!
I Expect of you to fight till the end, my broken heart that you shall mend!
I Expect the desire, I expect the kisses, burning fire without re misses,
I Expect from you a friend, a lover, till the end,
I Expect you to stand by my side, to never have lied,
I Expect from you, to smile and blush to melt at my every touch!
I Expect all this just as before, as I shall always want for more!
All this I Expect from you, as this is what I give you too!:-\

I envy such talent, must be good to be able to express yourself like that. Love, pain, joy and sadness can all be inspirational and bring out all the emotions in words.
People who can express themselves with words, music or art are just a mystery to me and I bow to their skills. I'm such a nuts an' bolts kinda girl ( engineering background) and such a philistine. Spent half my education learning a new language and the other half learning such useful information as the porosity of asphalt and the loading capacity of concrete that I never seemed to have time to do much else.
Good on ya girl.  ;)

Yeah right Scouser, try chatting a lady up when all you can talk about is drainage, load bearing and junction capacity. It really is as boring as well, talking about roads and bridges. Yawn.
Hmmmm, perhaps I should have blackmailed them by saying "I'll stop talking about signalised junctions if you have sex with me"
Think I'd have been on to a winner there laar.  ;D

'I never...'
I never meant to hurt you that much is true,
It's just you were there, just me, just you!
I never meant to hurt you, I only wanted fun,
I know now that wasn't what your aim was, it was love, now run,
Run away from me, as far as you can get, for someone else is now who I have met.
I never wished to break your heart, you knew right from the start,
I wasn't the right one, but made you succumb,
I never meant to lie, or cheat, my heart was strong for you did beat,
But now it's over, dusted, done, you are no longer my one,
I never meant to hurt you, or go away, but that's just what you did to me!

Such sadness in your words and thoughts, every line awash with pain,  your heart must ache, your soul must cry,
But do not weep, one day, someone,  your tears will dry.

Any reason that enables one to wright is a good reason, in my opinion, that way something good always comes from something bad, or not, and don't worry, I'm not really that sad, just reflective, my sad days have gone, I hope, hey, how can I be sad with a result like today anyway toffee, sorry, just had to throw that one in while I had chance! Ha, :D
