Oh my. That looks very beautiful. I want to go there.

One day.

Meantime I am going to Epping Forest on friday, hoping to see lots of moss.

Enjoy. You know when there is moss, it means the air is really clean?

Other small pleasures: someone else making you a cup of tea;
A cat wrapping itself around you.

I love that as well. So often we don't even notice them twittering about. I love hearing the dawn chorus, and I love the song of the nightingale. :)

Realising that I have nothing I have to do for the rest of the day, other than walk round to my friends house tonight to eat a dinner cooked by her. Realising that if I want to, I could have a nap! Or read my book!

There is a house at the end of my road where 'Sentry Cat' lives. Every morning he is there in the window doing what can only be described as a meerkat impression. This morning when i walked past I was delighted to see that he has a mate and that now there are TWO Sentry cats!  ;D

Sentry Cat, Sentry Cat. Does whatever a Sentry Cat does!
;D
(are you sure the second cat isn't just a picture to make it look like he's got a mate..?)

Finally feeling the winter is going, being able to start gardening, again, always makes me smile!

Perspective. Sometimes a tiny shift in perspective changes everything. You see the wider picture and it's liberating.

Awareness. Sometimes I can't find perspective until I become aware of where I'm doing wrong. It's that moment where you realise you have a choice and are actively creating half the problems sometimes.

Nature, sunshine, animals, laughter, planning things I love, food, people I relate to...

Mostly perspective and awareness though, they can be very powerful when they hit. Like a slap in the face. A much needed one. Unfortunately, they tend to be fleeting islands of clarity as opposed to default settings..  :-\

Being asked if I need help reaching something from the top shelf in the supermarket. Usually people ignore me struggling until I actually ask them for help, but not today! :)

Richard Osman, 6'10", was on (in?) Room 101 - said a lady asked him to reach something for her from the top shelf, then thanked him and asked if he needed anything from the bottom shelf.

^When people offer to let you go in front in the queue because you have just a few items and they have loads.

At Brighton station quite a few times I was queuing to get a ticket for London and people who were just coming back from London gave me their travelcards.

Also: samphire.
