Ok, I'm going to inject some controversy (oo-er) and observe that I'm spotting names on the list that raise Qs about how we define bisexual.
What about someone who has only ever had hetero relationships but has gone on record to say they're open to relationships with women, or think (that ole chestnut) "everyone is bisexual" - is she bisexual?
Or a young woman in the public eye who has only ever had lesbian relationships (or only had them since coming out as a lesbian) but who is described by her managers as bisexual rather than lesbian - is she bisexual?
What about women from earlier eras when it was (even) harder for them to make their own sexual choices - if they had husbands as well as women lovers - were they bisexual?
NB: I'm not introducing this because I think we need to define bi identity with regard to this forum - I want to be really, really clear about that!
But I think there is an interesting conversation to be had about what bisexuality is and is not.
