Nice cafes in Mancs?
« on: Mar 13, 2013, 10:15:04 PM »
Dear Mancunians and those nearby,
I'm heading to Manchester for the weekend (16 March) and would love recommendations for nice cafes, preferably serving decent coffee.
Any ideas?
All gratefully received.
Thanks!

That one we tried to go but was too busy, I think it was called Teacup, looked nice from the outside - oh I notice it's on the top5 list :)

We need a new Manchester meet, I need the distraction, talk to non-work people and all *sigh*
I can't go tomorrow though, got a haircut booked :D

Thank you for the recommendations MzB and ScarletBea. Sadly didn't get to any of them in the end - time was shorter than I had anticipated, especially as we had teenagers in tow. Went out to the Lowry and saw a couple of good exhibitions there, and generally enjoyed the visit though.

I'll keep these recommendations for next time.

Thanks again!
