Reporting Spam
« on: Jan 22, 2013, 01:39:15 PM »
As many of you know, we've experienced an increase in spam and spammer registrations.  Thank you all for your diligence in helping us to get rid of them.  I've made some technical changes so the number of spam registrations has reduced.

We now mostly get spammers who post a normal post, but have spam in their signature.  Please don't quote these posts, or respond to them, it makes it difficult to remove a post that people are referring to as it ruins the flow of the thread.  I know it's not always obvious that it is a spam post but when you do know, just report it and ignore it.

Please report the post, not the profile.  When you report a post it submits a request to all mods but if you report a profile, then it just sends an email to the system which may take days to receive a response.

Thank you all again for your help with this!
