The first series of The Killing is on Netflix too (as well as the American version I believe).

I'm sure I've been told to only watch the English version, not the American. I intend to do as I'm told.
 :D

The Bridge?  The documentary about people jumping off the Golden Gate?

Someone in my family sent that to me as a Christmas Present.
Which about sums up Christmas in my family.

^ They may have thought it was an upbeat version of It's a Wonderful life, where I do believe someone wanted to throw himself off a bridge, but his plans were rudely interrupted by an Angel who actually did do it.

:D I probably wouldn't have given it to someone for Christmas unless they'd expressed an interest. But I did like it...it felt like a memorial, the Wood Green woman "Dreams of a Life" is also like that.

But not everyone's cup of tea I imagine.  :)

^ Oh I think I'd think twice about giving it to somebody who *expressed an interest.*

It is really beautiful though, because it's filmed in such a gorgeous place.

I, of course, was fascinated by how big the splashes were.

Well true, I certainly wouldn't give it to anyone who was, for example, wondering whether it would hurt, or how big splash the splash would be.  ;)

I doubt the seal would like it much.. ;)

It *was* upsetting to me that there was no report about what happened to the seal who broke one man's fall.  In that sense, the journalism was a little sloppy.

Oh I didn't see it like that...I thought the seal was swimming around keeping him from drowning...
