PushingThru:
Nice one thanks :)

Redwolf:
I didn't make it in the end, but hoping another one is set up soon.  :)

Thanks for posting the link HB, didn't know about that site.

uncle fergus:
We went at 7.30. We stayed for one drink. There were seven other people there when we arrived.

It was really noisy and would have been impossible to chat, had anyone other than one very nice trans man introduced themselves to us. He was deep in conversation with someone so I didn't expect him to chat for long but I did expect at least a nod or a cursory hello/acknowledgement from the others. Nope. The organiser didn't make it back from the rugby and I'm afraid we gave up and went for a meal because everyone was at least four hours of drinking and chatting ahead of us. The others also all knew each other from the other board. Horses for courses and all that but not for us.

musclegirl:
I arrived at about 6.30 ish and spent an age standing round on my own, before eventually joining the group. I had never met any of them before that night, but I was talking to a few of them. They seemed friendly enough. Anyway I had a good night in the end. Also I didn't know that the meet up was advertised on another website (hence standing around on my own for ages). When I asked earlier in the evening a likely bunch of candidates if they were from gingerbeer, they said no cos they only knew the event to be advertised on the other website. This only became apparent after joining the group later and talking about what I had seen and realising it was the same event on both sites.

sailor:
Hey muscle girl.I was there it was nice to meet you.I was also quite late.I know that the main event had been earlier in the afternoon so most people had gone home
