Shall we make it a picnic on the Sunday, if fine?

Hi, I'm not that far from Bristol and can pretty much only do Sundays atm so picnic on the Sunday sounds great to me!  :)

You added me to your mailing list a while ago Uncle Pants, and I've been wanting to get to something but logistis/cowardliness have got in the way so far.

Perplexity, if you want to go something I could always meet you beforehand so you wouldn't have to charge in on your own. Should we made this a GB only Sunday picnic, or should we ask other people along too?

Thanks Uncle Pants, that's really kind  :)

I'm not fussed, I really want to get out and meet some new people so from my perspective the more the merrier!

Picnic sounds good. How about Leigh Woods? Then if it rains we could shelter under the oak frame... Or do you want wide open spaces?

We could have a fire there if we wanted....

Or the Downs? Or Ashton Court? Or Sea Mills?

I'd be up for a picnic and probably will have another beerie with me.
I think it would be fun to invite other non-beeries along too - may convert some to become beeries  ;D

Yeah, I thought it would be good to put it on the list if no one objects. There should be more picnics, and this will be a good beginning for the year. It's good to make sure it's accessible by public transport for those whoever don't drive or cycle?

Castle Park? Although it's not very inspiring.

Brandon Hill park (behind park street by St. George's) The cherry blossom should be good at this time and Cabot Tower is reopened....

I forget not everyone has a bike.

We've usually used Castle Park because it's central and wheelchair accessible.
