Hi all, for those of you going to the Brighton Pride parade, I'll have the Gingerbeer banner and will be on Madeira Drive from 10:30, if you want to join me. It would be great to see you and march with you!  :)

A very wonderful Beerie has offered me a train ticket.  :-*

I have not been organised enough to sort a park ticket thought. I understand that some of the shops in Soho sell them, so will investigate that on Thursday.

Is the women's tent not in the park? If not, where is it located?

Thanks, RC

I'm really sad I can't make it. Have some MA ties holding me down this weekend.

Hope you all have a fab time!

I'm not going to the park...it's all lovely until you need a wee....and then it's not lovely. My bladder is too old to cope.

I shall probably make a brief appearance at the St James street party...probably sans cake.

I'm going! Are any beeries doing the breakfast thing? Is that still an annual tradition? Also where ia the women's tent if its not in the park?!

I haven't been to Pride for 3 years due to pregnancy/breastfeeding and it all sounds pretty different!!

Last year the "Women's Tent" was actually in the Latest Music Bar (what used to be Joogleberry's. That spelling looks all wrong) in Kemptown. Not sure if it's the same this year?

The map for Preston Park has a women's performance tent marked on it...that's the women's tent right? I think we will be mostly sitting on the grass outside that tent, or having a little boogie on the outskirts of the Girls on Top Tent!

I'll probably be around still on the Sunday. Was thinking about visiting my dad whilst I'm down there on the Sun but now I'm thinking that's the last thing I will fancy doing with a hangover...... ;D

Yep, investigated last night and can confirm that buying in Soho is the cheapest option as they sell them at face value. If you buy on-line they will charge a booking fee. I think they are even more expensive if you buy them in Brighton on the day.
