Dear ... a thread for those who wish to make a prayer
« on: Nov 25, 2011, 11:12:41 AM »
Dear God.
Thanks for the people last night.

Next Saturday, I'm going furniture shopping with my Nan.
Please let us find the right pieces at the right price.
She gets very stressed about spending money on herself.
Thanks.

Dear *deity of choice*
Please look after the extremely premature twin girls born to a colleague yesterday at 22 weeks. The family can use all the help they can get.
Thank you.

Dear God,

I have been blessed in so many ways, with the friends I've made and the people I've met. Thank you for them, and for my siblings who mean more to me than anything in the world. Please help K2 to pick himself up again after this minor setback, help K3 to find motivation within herself and help K4 to stay out of trouble at school. And please bless my mom and let her know that I love her.

Amen

What a lovely idea for a thread!  Thank you for thinking of it!  :)

I don't actually pray as such, but I do make wishes, or "Will" stuff - hope it will be ok to include that on this thread.

Dear God,

I cannot express the sense of gratutude and hope that i have and experience. I am truly blessed, when i am at my lowest i know that it is you who gets me through. When i need help it is you who provides it. You know what is good for me and you know what is wrong and it is always the correct decision.

Every day i thank the Lord im Welsh

Dear God.

Please let my friend have the Easter holidays off. I really want to go on the Turkey AD holiday.

Dear Whoever/Whatever is running things,

Please give me the strength to get through this really difficult period.  I know we cannot always expect things to go our way in life but this current state is extreme and scary.
Please also help my mother with her heart condition.

Many thanks

Every year I plan to visit Turkey for Anzac Day and each year it doesn't happen. Hope you get there!

Dear God.
My Uncle's kidney does have to be removed. So be it.
If the growth is cancer, it'll be too hard for my Nan.
She has already lost a grandson.
They have already lost a son.

So, if possible.....
Thanks.
