Text from the invite:

Queer Resistance, a group of queers and allies coming together to fight the cuts, is organising a meet up for this Saturday's national demo against the cuts to education and public sector, and invites you and other LGBTQ groups to join together.

We thought we'd meet up for moral support, companionship, safety in numbers, someone to look out for you, and last but not least a visible Queer presence to the voice against the cuts.

We... are meeting up at 11.30am outside Warren Street tube then heading to the main demo at 12 O'Clock at ULU on Malett Street to be alongside NUS LGBT block - http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=158488814202194&ref=ts.

Information about the national demo is here:

Wear pink and black, bring any queer and Pride banners or flags that you have, or just turn up and march along with us.

'The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.' (Pat Robertson)
