Glad you liked it, LFL.

It’s a great song - I also like Robert Wyatt performing it and Victor Jara.
Am I the only one who finds that 'let us know your thoughts' a bit skin crawly patronizing?

Nope. I felt like I was being youth-worked or spoken to like a “Service user”.

It doesn’t work for me but if it stirs up traffic, fine. Doesn’t look like it is, though.

Have you ever been on a protest march?  The only protest march   I would go on was if my music school was in threat of closure.  It is run independently but if the rent goes up i dont know.  They had a second one close by tun by the same manager but the local council uped the rent and he could not afford it.  My music school is the only decent music school for miles so it would seriously affect those locally who want a musical education including myself.  The other alternative would be to find a private teacher but it would not be the same.  Yes i have a private teacher but in a school environment.
Chew as i said before count ne in.  I will be taking the Friday off work as it will be a late night.

Mothering Sunday.
I dunno, Chewwy, I think it's probably an unanswerable question (the OP). I suppose if I was religious then I might find 'The Bible' the best book I'd ever read, but even that doesn't work, as the Bible is a collection of a lot of books.

Dear TG

Please don't be shit and pose-y.

Dear non-GB

I wish you well and I'm sorry things are hard.
I won't be getting on that rollercoaster with you though.

I've had some dreadful experiences, the worst being in the Netherlands rather than the UK. Though this was not actually STI related. One was a gynaecological physiotherapist who was visibly shocked and embarrassed when I asked if certain sexual activities were safe or not from a pelvic floor point of view. This was the same woman who told me I didn't have the symptoms I had been referred there for (the gynaecologist had written uterus and she didn't know that uterus was the Latin name for a uterus - to be fair, the average Dutch person doesn't know that either, but then the average person hasn't trained as a gynaecological physiotherapist).

Then there was the GP who kept asking how I had got pregnant, 10 years after the event, every time he saw either me or my wife, like when my wife went to get a repeat prescription for hay fever tablets.

But I have to admit, I thought this thread title meant people looking at you in public places because they might be interested in you ;D
I have so many favourites too!

In vey random order, and missing out loads:

The Woman in White, Rubyfruit Jungle (I did warn it was going to be random), The Amber Spyglass, Small Island, N-W, Pride and Prejudice, De Koning van Katoren, Soldaten huilen niet, Ash on a Young Man's Sleeve and The Book Thief
